There were just the 3 of us. Fellow interns at MIT with a long July-the-4th-weekend and a rented car. We took out a map, saw a massive mountain some distance to the north-east of Massachusetts and in less than 5 minutes, we were out on the road on a memorable and unexpected road trip.
